PV Reporter introduces new Mobile App

MPN Information on Your Phone

PV Reporter has introduced a new mobile app that you can download to your phone (iOS).  The app provides instant access to multiple pages on our website (MPN Search, News Feed, Resources), Facebook page, Twitter page, PV Tracker Tool, email contact information and the ability to share the app via social media.

PV Reporter continues to add “new technologies” that make accessing important MPN information a breeze. I envision using the app while relaxing on the sofa sipping your favorite  beverage and it might be “just what the doctor ordered” while waiting patiently for your next office visit.

DIRECTIONS:  Click here or on the Image below, it will take you to the download page and then click “Install on your Phone” and follow the prompts:

PV Reporter Mobile App for Phones

Note: The app is designed to work on your Phone specifically.  It may work fine with your iPad as well.  My research indicates users prefer to access a website on their Phone via an app, the same is not necessarily true on a tablet and PV Reporter renders correctly on a tablet accessed directly on your browser.

Honestly, I was 50/50 on whether or not Pinterest would fly with MPN patients…..I mean it’s only ladies pinning fashion stuff, exotic vacation destinations and recipes, right?  Apparently not, I can report it has been a semi-smashing success with re-pins almost daily and it’s not going away!  So try the mobile app and let me know what you think.

Thanks to our Partners for sharing your invaluable articles, videos and research reports via PV Reporter with the MPN community.  There is more exciting news on the way!

About David Wallace

Founder of PV Reporter, a resource for Myeloproliferative Neoplasm (MPN) patients and caregivers. After being diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera (PV) in 2009, I utilized social media to connect with "informed patients" and develop a better understanding of emerging treatment options. My philosophy on patient care is straight forward - "educating the patient is essential, so the patient can guide their physician to meet his or her needs." PV Reporter is a comprehensive resource hub giving visitors vital tools to become "empowered patients."
