Tour A MPN Research Lab – Irvine, CA

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Mary Sullivan’s MWOY Fundraising Page

If you are in the Irvine CA area, please support a worthy cause:
Dr Angela Fleischman says: “I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know a wonderful young woman named Mary Sullivan who has been living with CML since age 2. She was on IFNa for CML before going on the original gleevec trial for CML. She’s now 24 and is doing great. She’s running for the Orange County Leukemia Lymphoma Society woman of the year.

To support her campaign I will host a tour of my lab on May 10th, everyone is welcome. We’ll have food/wine and stations where people can do some lab techniques.
Tour a MPN Research Lab Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I am a candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year. As you may know, I am a 22 year leukemia survivor, so I know the impact that research can make.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I am a candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year. As you may know, I am a 22 year leukemia survivor, so I know the impact that research can make.

The info is on her website http://www.mwoy.org/pages/ocie/ocie14/msullivan. I want to emphasize that donations are in no way expected – just come to support Mary and see what an MPN lab looks like.”

About David Wallace

Founder of PV Reporter, a resource for Myeloproliferative Neoplasm (MPN) patients and caregivers. After being diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera (PV) in 2009, I utilized social media to connect with "informed patients" and develop a better understanding of emerging treatment options. My philosophy on patient care is straight forward - "educating the patient is essential, so the patient can guide their physician to meet his or her needs." PV Reporter is a comprehensive resource hub giving visitors vital tools to become "empowered patients."
